todae has been one of the most favourite daes she's had in a long long while.
sweet as milk tea, the stars adorned her evening sky.
went to sheraton hotel today
and ooohhhh she loved the stars tonight
nope not really those diamonds that shimmer faintly in the velvet sky
but the really huge silver and gold inflates that bobbed up and down the ballroom in sweet delight
those were really cutes
those were the first she took photos of when she and her prince charming stepped into the ballroom
the seemingly unaffordable sophistication exuded by the room was lightened by the moods of coloured lights flashed across each table. phews~~~ the room was drizzled with crystal lights that she could barely keep herself comfortable within such class.
she slipped on her black satin and danced along in black high-heels. though her toes were a little damp from nervousness and uneasiness, it all eased off whenever she held darling's hand.
she asked darling if could sit with him
oh DUH. "of course (she could )" darling reassured
though a senseless question to ask
but the frightful her (of such occasions) still found a peaceful place in darling's warm hands.
the night ended real special as she was up to her usual little mischieves
everyone took home a star or two wanting to keep them
she took home two stars or three wanting to release at least one and watch it join the other jewels in the dark dark sky
'twas quite an embarrassing a ride home with all the stars readily and guilt-consciously plucked from the ballroom
but they both had fun, not giving heck bout the cynical, unromantic Singaporeans around them
(those who "diao-ed" us in dismay, get a life please.)
bus ride continued the night's sweetness
as they both readily recorded memories in pictures
the most special?
was picturing distorted faces of them both with faces close to one another reflected by the silvery surface of the star. how everything was like a true sweet dream~
she took a couple more photos in the loveliest ways, where the stars streamed behind her against the wind...
at her doorstep
*bear bear huggs* unforgotten and
fatefully one star released itself from her grip
readily plunging into the sea of stars
as they both watched it glimmer strong
glimmer weak and finally disappeared into the night
while holding on to the two remaining stars in cherished tightness.
so it all seems like the nightmare never was there before
and she wishes upon another star she would forget all the hurt that keeps coming back to her occasionally.
just like she did the night before
upon a true shooting star
all she prayed for..
~~~***+++happily ever after with darling+++***~~~
